Owner / CEO
Brian Connell is the founder and president of Dynamic Solutions Group. His knowledge of both the accounting and IT sides of business has provided many of clients with not only successful implementations but also cost reductions and more efficiency on the IT side of their businesses. Brian has been a certified Microsoft Partner for over 20 year and has successfully completed over 50 Dynamics GP software implementations. He recently attained partner status with Intacct and is now a certified implementation specialist for the cloud, on-premise and hosted ERP solutions.
Brian attended Cal State University San Bernardino and graduated with a degree in Accounting. He also holds partner status SalesPad, Solver/BI360 and Workforce GO!
Prior to starting up Dynamic Solutions Group, Brian was a partner in a Microsoft Dynamics GP and network hosting firm, Data Resolutions. He managed a team of developers and the company’s web based flagship product; Microsoft Dynamics GP.
Throughout his tenure there, he was the lead for the technical and system architecture design and development project, managed the full SDLC of the web based product including project managing and delivering product releases, developed technical design/architecture of web-based application and system integration solutions, designed and performed hands on development of complete feature sets for the web application from conception through implementation including client, middle tier and database components. (ASP, COM+, Stored Procedures). He also was responsible for
Designed and developed system integration components using web services in .Net.
Designed and migrated web application architecture from COM+ to ADO for transaction management and achieved a 35% boost in application performance.
Redesigned, tightened and made more flexible the security and licensing architecture of the web application.
Developed an architecture to integrate .NET components with existing legacy code (VB6/ADO) to support cross platform transaction management enabling future feature set development in .NET (using Interop).
Develop client server applications and web application feature sets using VB.NET and ASP.NET.
Develop data conversion toolsets to transform data between disparate data sources (Fox, SQL Server, text files, MS Office data sources). Utilized to migrate customers from legacy CRM applications to Homestore’s current CRM applications.
Analyze database performance and achieve improvement by creating appropriate indexes, database maintenance plans and settings.
Design and implement appropriate database administration strategies.
Review and optimize database structure and code (database design, stored procedures and DTS packages).
Gained 200 to 1000% performance improvements in several areas of the web application by converting procedural code into set based SQL code.
Conduct process and workflow analysis meetings with customers and help design system solutions.
